Overview

Ready to explore one of Victoria’s most scenic rail trails on an awesome fat-tire e-bike?! This tour will have you cruising along the 40km historic old railway line, the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail, passing through lush landscapes, charming towns, and stopping at some fantastic local spots along the way. With the power of e-bikes, you can go further, faster, and enjoy the journey without breaking a sweat!

First Stop: Carriage Café in Seville
Our first stop is the Carriage Cafe in Seville, where you’ll enjoy a morning tea break. It’s the perfect place to fuel up, grab a bite, and prepare for the ride ahead.

Second Stop: Killara
After our break, we’ll head to Killara Estate for a wine tasting, where you’ll get a taste of some of the best wines in the Yarra Valley. Enjoy the views and relax before continuing our adventure.

Third Stop: The Launching Place Home Hotel
Next, we’ll head to The Launching Place Home Hotel, where you can kick back and enjoy a cold beer, reflecting on the ride so far.

Fourth Stop: Alpine Hotel in Warburton for Lunch
We’ll finish the tour at the Alpine Hotel in Warburton, where you can sit down for a delicious lunch, share your favourite moments from the ride, and relax after a day of exploring.

This isn’t just another ride—it’s adventure packed with fun, great sights, and the effortless thrill of cruising on e-bikes. It’s one of our personal favourites and a perfect way to explore the stunning Yarra Valley in a unique and exciting way!

7-9 persons $499 p/hd
4-6 person $599 p/hd
11-20 persons (passengers) $329 p/hd*
*Passengers are only allowed if the booking is at 10 people. This would occur if you didn’t want to miss the opportunity of this fantastic experience if your group size was greater than 10. For the best experience, we recommend riding on your own, but we do allow passengers to confident bike riders. Bike seats are big enough for 2 people, and back person has foot pegs to rest on. Total weight of both passengers combined cannot exceed 180kgs.

Do I need cycling experience to join this tour?

We recommend being familiar with riding a bike before joining this tour.

What kind of bikes will we be using?

You’ll be riding ACE AMPD e-bikes, which are designed for comfort and performance on the rail trail. They provide pedal assistance, making your ride effortless.

How difficult is the ride?

The Yarra Valley Rail Trail is a mostly flat, well-maintained path, and with the help of e-bikes, it’s an easy and relaxed ride.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We ride in light rain, but in cases of extreme weather (heavy rain, strong winds, or storms), we may reschedule or offer a refund.

What if I’ve never used an e-bike before?

No worries! Your guide will give you a full safety briefing and riding instructions before we start.

Terms & Conditions

Any cancellations more than 30 days from the experience are fully refunded.
Any cancellations between 15 and 30 days from the experience will receive a credit note.
Any cancellations 14 days or less from the experience are non-refundable.
All experiences with Yarra Valley X guests are insured under our public liability policy. Any experiences that involve a third party supplier activity, a third-party waiver form will be required to be signed at the activity’s induction.
